This week's photo hunt theme is "Drink" and I decided I should go with the most popular drink in my household currently which is ... tea! There is nothing better on a cold March evening (or any cold evening come to think of it!) than a nice hot cup of tea.
This picture is of a teapot and matching mugs that was given to me by my Great Aunt Del when she was cleaning out her apartment not too long ago. I have a collection of teapots (18 as of last count) and there's always room for more! I also have quite the selection of teas and a lovely wooden tea chest that was given to me this past Christmas to keep them in.
Never let it be said that we are not civilized in this part of Connecticut! Or at least in my small part of it! Now everyone go enjoy their green beer or Irish whiskey or whatever you're raising a glass of to celebrate this St. Patrick's Day! I think I'll have a cup of Earl Grey - hot!

See I shouldn't have been so lazy, I could've done the same but with a latte and the coffee pot.
ReplyDeleteNice tea set.
That's a gorgeous tea service. I have just learned to like tea. My mom always gave it to us kids when we were sick so it had that medicinal quality to it. But after I learned there was more to it and found the Stash Tea catalog...I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty set!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a happy St. Patricks day.
I wish I like hot tea -- it would give me more variety of warm drinks to choose from. But for some reason I just can't stomach it. I drink drink iced tea, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!

How beautiful. there's something about tea that makes you want to put it in something special. I'll drink coffee out of any old mug. But, I have two beautiful ones that I reserve for tea. Why is that? Must be the "civilized" part.
