Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt - "Clean"

********************
Welcome to the Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt where this week we had to find a picture of something clean. Now this one was tough because, to be perfectly honest, there isn't a whole lot around my house that seems to be clean right now! And that's pretty sad because I used to pride myself on a neat and orderly house.

I'm not sure when that all changed but it has and the amazing thing is, I don't feel any great desire to attack the kitchen floor with a mop or vacuum all the cat hair off of the stairs or even pick up the clutter from the dining room table. After all - who needs a dining room table?? If I clean off the dining room table that means I need to cook meals that we will eat while sitting at the dining room table. And who has time to do that when there is blogging to be done?

So after a somewhat frantic search around the house I finally found the below:

dishwasherIf nothing else ever gets cleaned around here these days, the dishes and the clothes usually get done! And thank goodness for that or there would be a just big, blank, clean space where today's Hunt was supposed to be!

Happy Hunting and a ...

Happy Easter

  1. If it wasn't for my dishwasher my dishes probably wouldn't be clean either ha ha. susie homemaker I am NOT. Don't get me wrong, I love a clean house, I am just to busy and lazy to do it as often as I should for it to be really clean...That is why I chose a different thing for my post (smile). Thanks for stopping in.

  2. Clean dishes, totally a necessity. Do you use liquid or powder? Just had to ask.

  3. I agree at 100 % to your cleaning philosophy ! The only thing I miss between the clean dishes is your cat ! Arthur always sits in the dishwasher when the door is open !

  4. PS Arthur is my cat not my husband !

  5. dishwashers are great. i don't have one at my apartment.. but my office does.. and the lady who cleans the office does all those dishes... so i end up eating at work a lot :-)

  19. My Mommie says clean dishes in the dishwasher are a mixed blessing. Because now you have another chore: emptying the dishwasher!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yep, dishes and laundry need to be cleaned regularly, as does my litterbox!

Happy Easter to you too. :)

  21. Not joining in this one because as I'm not in charge of the cleaning at the moment (bad leg)I can't vouch for anthing being clean. Don't tell MWM or he'll down tools!

    ReplyDelete

  25. What's a dishwasher? Oh wait...I know - it's ME! Yep, we do our dishes the old-fashioned way, and to celebrate finally getting them done, "Mrs. Bulldog" & I go out to eat! (usually on our way home from the laundromat) ;-)

BTW: Happy Easter to one of my favorite folks upstairs in the "Bubble"!

    Happy Easter to you.

  28. I go through times like that, too, where the dishes and clothes are about the only thing clean. :) I am so thankful for dishwashers!

  29. Love all of the dishes clean but hate emptying the dishwasher. I usually just try to use as many out of the washer before actually having to empty it. Thus, empty dishwasher- very full sink>
    Happy hunting

  32. I'm with you...not much has been clean around my home for about a week ;)....I noticed in your profile you like Stephanie Plum...I just started reading the Twelve....at the emergency room...as always it is hard to put a book by her down without reading it through to the end.
