I knew someone would have this for their WW post... glad it was you! You do an amazing job for the public, just like these men who gave their lives in the line of duty. I'm just selfish and glad that YOUR service doesn't put your life in danger every day. Cuz I ♥ ya and want you around for a long, long time.
All too often, we -all of us -take for granted the work these people do and the danger they put before them in the line of duty. We forget how courageous, how brave, these people are until something like a tragedy of this magnitude happens. Your blog does try frequently to remind us of the dangers as well as the brave and courageous souls who strive to protect and help us, the public, and to them we owe a tremendous debt. One can only imagine the terrible grief that entire community must be dealing with at this time -and forever after as well. Thanks Linda, for a post well placed.
That Damned Google Reader I was reading that a long time ago. Last night or today. Then I come to your blog and see that picture that I had allready seen. My name isn't in the linky list. Oh my I really never came here. Oh my gosh. It's like Dayzavoe. Oh my what a dork I am.
