This week's Photo Hunt, hosted by
TNChick, has a theme that is actually a relatively easy one as far as being able to find a photo to post. There were more than several choices that I could have made but I chose this picture that was taken in the summer of 2000 as it's one of my very favorites of Amanda and Jamie as - get this - they're actually getting along and smiling! Don't they look happy??
I'm more used to them looking something like this -

Have a very happy Saturday and enjoy the Hunt!
oh how sweet! I love the coordinated dresses!! and the little girl necklaces!
ReplyDeletejust too cute.
One day Subvet and I were heading out to church when he said "Wait, we can't go to church!" I said what??? "The boys aren't in matching outfits!!"
When they were younger especially I'd frequently put them in matching clothes and got TEASED relentlessly!!
heeheehee.
They look absolutely happy.
ReplyDeleteCute outfits too.
Happy Hunting!
I can't tell you how many coordinated outfits my sister and I had when we were growing up. I swear that photo of the girls could have been us back then. Anyway, they certainly do look happy!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL--wonderful shots. Did you make the dresses in the first photo? They are adorable!! You are very blessed, Linda.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous girls, I surfed here via another blog and hate not leaving comments.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend :D

Fantastic choice of pics, Linda. Funny how they get along as toddlers, fight as teenagers, and (hopefully) become friends as young adults. May they always know how lucky they are to have each other - and YOU as their "Super Mom"!
ReplyDeleteawww so cute..they looked happy..love the bottom photo too..that's how sisters are anyways but deep down they do love each other
ReplyDeleteMine's up too
Great pictures - even the one where they're scrapping!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun and happy pictures. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThat picture definately qualifies in the 'happy' theme.
ReplyDeleteJust love it....aren't kids great? They give us so many happy memories. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteFrom childhood to teenagers, that is life, nice choice for the hunt.
ReplyDeleteLike matching book ends!

And the smiles!

The first photo is so sweet. It's as if butter wouldn't melt in their mouth!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I guess at some point they all lose that sweet little girl personna, right?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post, Linda, and what beautiful young ladies! Thanks for visiting my Pollywog Creek happiness!
ReplyDeleteSisters' love, huh? they look very happy in the first picture, they will be so happy to have a sister in their adult years!

ReplyDeleteparticularly the second not so happy one.

I love this, the humor, the contrast! Great post.
ReplyDeletethese pics sure look good on a happy-o-meter. everybody is so happy. may i ask for some assistance please? i need the url for the weekly themes for photohunters. do u have it? thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteOMG Linda they were soooo cute!
ReplyDeleteTell Amanda I want to know what in the heck happened !! **wink**
Have fun tomorrow!
Great photos, seeing the first one and then the second made me smile. Just what sisters are like. Made me happy.
ReplyDeleteThat was really cute. I loved the contrast between the two!
ReplyDeleteSince I had three bickering, with my son in the middle, I learned to have them keep my flower beds weed-free, or the floor swept, or something like that...everytime they fussed.
They tolerate each other now!
Hehehehehe . . . looks very familiar (typed while yelling at the kids to quit calling each other completely inappropriate names in the course of fighting over a video game). It was so quiet here when MattieBoo was on a field trip with his school. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love both photos of when they were younger and that cool, wacky shot. Such memorable moments.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting.
It amazed me how unique your blog is. It really stands out from the rest. Me too and trying to read as much as I can to make my blog better.
ReplyDeleteI am learning from probloger.net and there is where I found an article - then a comment and then your blog :)
Keep it up!
cute children and so happy! My son was my happy inspiration too this week.. take care!
ReplyDeleteWell, hopefully they get along more than they don't!
ReplyDeleteGreat post. BWAHAHAHA. The pics are priceless!
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm late...but I LOVE those photos of the girls. It made me happy to see them. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd in years to come, they will love each other and be best friends. Great photos!
