**********************

I've seen this a couple times now - the first was from my supervisor at work last week and then this week I got it in an email from a friend. I thought it was cool when I first saw it and still think it's cool now so thought I would pass it along to see what you thought.
The way this works is that if you see the dancer turning counter-clockwise then you are using the left side of your brain. Left brain functions are considered to be:
- uses logic
- detail oriented
- facts rule
- words and language
- present and past
- math and science
- can comprehend
- knowing
- acknowledges
- order/pattern perception
- knows object name
- reality based
- forms strategies
- practical
- safe
- uses feeling
- "big picture" oriented
- imagination rules
- symbols and images
- present and future
- philosophy & religion
- can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
- believes
- appreciates
- spatial perception
- knows object function
- fantasy based
- presents possibilities
- impetuous
- risk taking
So how about you? Are you in your right mind or do you use more of your left?
What a fascinating image. I was on the left (apparently mentally as well as somewhat politically), by concentrating I got her to go up and down some. Does this mean I'm running around in circles?
ReplyDeleteJust had my artist son come in without telling him what it was about and got "Whoa!! why does she keep changing directions!"
ReplyDeletewell, when it first pulled up she kept changing directions for me too, but as I read the post and went back she stayed clockwise.....but then I'm always a bit scatterbrained!
ReplyDeleteooops, back to changing directions again....weirdo thing is that she goes faster clockwise and slower counter-clockwise....
ReplyDeletewhere do you get the code for this??
yeah...changing directions for me too...this is rather mesmerizing...
ReplyDeleteOn the first website I saw this, it stayed clockwise and I would definitely agree with this assesment of my gray matter. But here, it tends to change directions frequently! Interesting, because I am SO right-brained!!!
ReplyDeleteNeat! She seems to be going clockwise pretty much all the time for me, I did get her to switch once. But I wouldn't disagree with a right-brained assesment.. Fantasy-based, me?? No!!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteshe is turning clockwise from where I sit, so apparently I am in my right mind ;-)
ReplyDeletenothing right in my left brain; nothing left in my right brain...and I got the t-shirt to prove it! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck are ya'll doing to make her move? I've been sitting here staring at this and have yet to see anything "move." Now, leaning - then I think she is moving clock-wise but it took me forever to figure out if this is from the front or behind and then, do you mean she is moving to her right or left or my right or left. Makes a difference there ya know. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm right too. Awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in my right mind according to this. I have to say the description is scarily right too.
ReplyDeleteThe dancer is always going counter clockwise to me.
ReplyDeleteAs a left-handed person I am in my right mind naturally... and I saw clockwise rotation... couldn't understand why you were talking about counterclockwise as even a possibility... going back to look at it again....

Well, whaddaya know? I got it going the other way finally....
Ok I'm scared! I saw her moving counter clockwise and I read the descriptions.. then I watched her dance a few more seconds and she changed direction!! Does that mean I really am crazy?!?! Or does it mean I smell too many art fumes at school
