No doubt you are all quite familiar with my darling daughter who has absolutely no problem dressing up in some pretty outrageous outfits! So of course she couldn't pass up the opportunity to once again take on the persona of Jimmy from Mindless Self Indulgence on Halloween!

We were given permission at work to dress up for Halloween ourselves, as long as it wasn't too outrageous, so I decided to take a page (and a couple items of clothing!) from Amanda and become "Emo Mom" for the day!

Looks like we know where Amanda gets it from, don't we??

Hope everyone had a fantastic Halloween!
Yep...I can definitely see the family resemblance. And I just love the two-toned hair. Just tell me what shades you chose so I can make sure my hairdresser can duplicate your "do" on my next visit. :~)
ReplyDeleteA surprising number of peeps dressed up at my office today. There were some very creative costumes.
ReplyDeleteI was mired in end of month crap so did not participate, but we did have silly string and I'm always up for shooting off a can of that stuff!
I was purple-haired momma.
ReplyDeleteYou rock with your two-tone hair, Linda!
You both look great! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree in your family. Glad you could both enjoy yourselves.
ReplyDeleteI didn't dress up this year but usually do. I at least put on an orange shirt, pumpkin earrings and a flashing pumpkin necklace. Just enough to have Peanut be happy but not embarrassed.
yea....not much doubt who gave birth to that one....smile...
ReplyDelete(did not dress up this year...but have lots of trick or treat candy...)
I dressed as a pencil then I changed into my Queen costume, finally stepping into a meme.
ReplyDeleteDuh!
Linda, gotta hand it to you! As a mom, you get the gold star!!! It's good to have so much fun!
ReplyDeleteYou two look awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe emo look is really you Linda! :-)
I had a great night. I discovered a street near me that cuts off the traffic and then has nearly every house decorated majorly and there is dancing and kids running around and dogs and lights and skeletons. FUN!!!
ReplyDeleteYou two look swell. I only dressed up as a Bruce Springsteen fan. But that's how I dress everyday.
ReplyDeletePretty cool there, Linda! I was a grouchy old lady for Halloween so it didn't take any special outfit, makeup or changes to my personality either. A really tired old lady too because a certain little boy has once again decided to burn the midnight oils here.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are so fun! Love your hair and love the photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to have some fun on your favorite holiday! Both you & Amanda look GREAT! You're definately too-cool-of-a-mom for words!
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I was Coach Mike Ditka for the "Summit St. '80's Party" on the 26th. Then yesterday, I was a WWII Bomber Pilot (a-la "Memphis Belle") when we went to Salem for the day.
You and Amanda both have such style!
ReplyDeleteLove the two-tone hair Linda!
ReplyDeleteWere you a lot like Amanda when you were 15??
I think you may have been.
OMG that is way cool. I totally think you should put that as your profile pic now!!! *LOL*
ReplyDeleteYou are both adorable. What a great mom you are. I hope Amanda knows how cool you are. :)
ReplyDeletewell now I like your outfit, but please explain to me what "emo" means....I've run across it before and am at sea.
