I Don't Know - What Do You Think?

Plugs & Arrows

"To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them?"

Okay, this latest drawing by Amanda has absolutely nothing to do with Shakespeare or Hamlet or even Denmark but for some reason it reminds me of Hamlet's most famous soliloquy. I'm sure it's just the arrows that make me think that but think it I do!

When I asked Amanda what she was thinking when she drew this picture her answer was "Uh, nothing much that I can remember." Helpful, Amanda, real helpful!

So tell me - what do you think??

  1. I love that girl - I truly do... her talent and her personality... well, I just think she's awesome!

OK, you asked what we thought - well, the first thing I thought was "Hey, that's a USB computer cable, and those are some other cables"... so, I concluded that the mind was all tied up in the electronic world. Heh, I'm obviously putting WAY too much into this since she "wasn't thinking too much" when she created it hehe

  3. My first impression was a wonderful commentary on our current environmental concerns. Tell Amanda that Al Gore would be proud.

  4. This reminds me of a late '60s album cover, like Sgt. Pepper's, or something from Janis Joplin and Big Brother and the Holding Company. Very cool.

  6. I'm with Misty Dawn on the "seeing computer cables" here -- my reaction is: Amanda is at her center warm with emotions and uses technology, which is a cold gripping environment, to try to covey her passions...
