Sunrise - Sunset

I'm feeling pretty darned uninspired today. So darned uninspired that I can't even get my brain to go on any cheap flights of fancy! Not sure if it's the whole "lose an hour" thing or the fact that my back, which was feeling better, is now giving me grief again for no good reason as yesterday's mammoth rain storms have moved out of the area along with the low pressure system that accompanied it. If it's something more than the weather that is causing problems, I'm afraid I really don't want to even think about it but if this keeps up, I'll call my orthopedic doc later this week and see about getting in to get things checked out.

At any rate, because I'm feeling so perfectly blah and have to go to work shortly but didn't want to not post something for two days (and considering I have to work my lovely 16-hour double shift tomorrow I won't be posting anything then either), I thought I'd post a couple of pictures that I got from my friend Andrew the other day. I don't have too much background on them other than that he told me that they are pictures of the sunrise and sunset on the same day. I'm going to guess that Andrew took the pictures near his home in northeastern Connecticut but just in case it was his wife, Bethany who took them, I figured I'd best give a shout out to her, too. Want to make sure to give credit where credit is due! Thanks, Andrew and Bethany both!

I hope everyone has a great Sunday and Monday and I'll try to get caught up with all of you on Tuesday when I next have a day off and, hopefully, my back will have settled down for good!

  15. I hope the back gets better, the double shift passes as quickly as possible, and that the flights of fancy rev up and get off the ground to your delight. Those are beautiful pictures, but snow always sends my imagination

  17. Feel better sweetie. Take it easy when your shift is over, rest up and use a heating pad or some Ben Gay.

You deserve some time for yourself, but not like this.
