Ah, Bliss ...

Strolling on the beach

I don't know who these folks are and, frankly, didn't even remember taking this picture when we were at the National Seashore on Cape Cod as part our vacation but when going through my pictures I came across it and thought - yep, that's what life should be like right there - walking hand-in-hand on the seashore with the one that you love while seagulls circle overhead.

I'll be sitting over in the corner now ... sobbing. Everyone else have a great Sunday!

  1. This may be the very best of your photos, Crème de la Crème, in other words, I love it.

  8. Beautiful photo and remember when you walk alone you are holding the hand of your many temporarily invisble friends who love you.

  9. Georgeous photo! I wouldn't worry about them seeing it though. They look like they knew it was one of those days to remember.

  11. Well, it is a great photo -maybe the unknown aspect even adds to it -as if it needs anything to add to it to make it better -but you know what I mean there, I hope. Keep those shutters snapping!

  12. Yes, very tranquil, unless you where with them, they don't remember where they parked the car and have been waundering around for hours now, he's ready to plunge into the ocean and she's ready to help. If you're in the corner, you should be smirking at that.

  17. oh don't sob, cuz right out of the frame you missed the 3 kids throwing sand in each others' faces and trying to dunk the others in the surf.......then #3 (girl) running up to the mom in wet diaper that's now sagging past the knees crying cuz the passie got lost in the ocean and it was THE BESTEST passie EVER and is GONE.....then #2 (boy) running up throwing a LIVE CRAB in Dad's face while #1 (boy) wails cuz he found that crab FIRST.

    :-)

    nope, don't sob,

    solitude is bliss.

  19. If I could "invent" a guy for you, I would! He'd be part Mo (seems like a really nice guy from all your posts), part Andrew (for obvious reasons), part Dennis C. (for artistic ability), Part JM/Seth (because you need eye-candy), and part me (just for something different). I'd package him up in jeans, leather, and a bandanna & send him to your house on a Harley built for two!!
