The only 'hitch' with this award is that it comes with a couple of rules:
- Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
- Share 7 facts about yourself, some random, some weird.
- Tag 7 people (if possible) at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
- Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blogs.
- Even though I may sometimes walk through cemeteries to take pictures at night, I will not sleep in a room with an open closet door.
- I have lived in Maryland, Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Mississippi, Texas, New Jersey, and California in addition to Connecticut.
- My first car was a 1975 Chevy Chevette, color blue.
- I have listened to people being shot on the other end of a 911 call and, let me tell you, that sort of thing stays with you for a very, very long time.
- I've tried skiing once in my life at a place in Lake Tahoe and that, my friends, was not pretty!
- My first marriage took place in the reception area of a dentist's office in Wrightstown, New Jersey (the dentist was a Justice of the Peace).
- I once took an Amtrak train from California to Massachusetts and it was a very pretty trip and great way to see some of the country. The food was pretty good, too!
- Jamie of Duward Discussion
- Rob of In Times and Out Goals
- Lois of Lowdown from Lois
- Erik of The Fire Insider
- Carol G of A Letter to Me
- Sarah of My Wonderful Life
Congratulations, you deserve every award you get.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Duchess Linda, on this scribbler award. I have yet to do this!
ReplyDeleteI love where your first marriage was held. I'm wondering if you guys got a toothbrush or floss or anything as a wedding gift. They have lots of samples in dental offices, you know.
You should describe that marriage ceremony in more detail in a future blog post. :-D
Did you take pictures on that cross-country trip? If so, please post.
I'm making a lot of demands first thing in the morning, aren't I?
Thanks Linda! I'll post that tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI love your seven things. Let's me get to know you that much more...
Did the dentist clean your teeth before the ceremony?
ReplyDeleteGeesh Woman you forgot California! Have fun in the rain today. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think this makes two memes I owe you and one I owe another....I think...it's hard to keep up!
ReplyDeletebut I really like the award, thanks a ton! I'll try to get to is "soon". (whatever that means!)
you're a dear friend and I thank God for you being in my life. truly.
You're not claiming California anymore. Got something against Stockton now? Bwahahahahaahah.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Linda. Have a great day. Big hug. :)
Congrats, Linda! You are a wonderful Scribbler and so are the bloggers you chose. Wish I could write like them. It's just not in my genes :o)
ReplyDeleteYou are definately a Superiour Scribblier, Linda, and worthy of the Award.
ReplyDeleteWOW... your certainly deserve your Scribbler award !! Passing one on to me really took me by surprise. I will do my best to fulfill this meme...
ReplyDeleteOoops, I did totally leave California off of that list but have since put it on there. That's what happens when I write posts late at night after long 16-hour days sitting behind a dispatch console!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to know that some of you know me better than I know myself, though!
Bladies! I love it. Congratulations on your award and to your awardees.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you explained that the dentist was a Justice of the Peace, you had me worried for a moment there.
Cheers
You certainly deserve this award and I totally enjoyed all the seven interesting things. Now my turn. I'll let you know when it is done.
ReplyDeleteLinda, you are a scribbler of great repute, and a superior Nutmegger as well! The Air Force wild blue yonder is appropriate as the sky above that great expanse of states you've lived in is as big as a yonder (whatever that is). A well deserved award!
ReplyDeletecongrats scribbler and THANKS for passing me by on a tag!
ReplyDeletevery very well deserved....
ReplyDeleteand very interesting tidbits about you...
