It's Thursday morning and time to head back over to do some more painting before going into work this afternoon. I'm hoping to get a good part of the bedroom finished so that it has plenty of time to dry tonight and I can do the finishing touches tomorrow before we start moving furniture in on Saturday. Wish me luck!
Jamie had said that perhaps I'd want to "go to the mattresses" and bring in some of the mob to help me out with all this but not knowing any of the Rhode Island mafia personally, I think I'm going to have to continue to do it on my own and then "hit the mattress" later on to rest up!
Wish me luck!
See it's coming together. You will be exhausted when you get done, but it's coming together. I'm so happy for you. I think this is just the ticket and hot showers too.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. Big hug. :)
Repeat after me: HOT SHOWERS! HOT SHOWERS! HOT SHOWERS!
ReplyDeleteDo you want to paint part of my house as well?
ReplyDeleteOh you're so busy, busy, busy. It's a pity you couldn't take some time off work to get it all done.
ReplyDeleteJust in case you aren't busy enough, we do expect a full photo album of all the activities.
ReplyDeleteyou guys are making good progress even with working and stuff going on. good job.
ReplyDeleteWhen you're done come over here... I got six gallons to work with...LOL!
ReplyDeleteI hope you got a lot of painting done today, Linda, before you had to go into work.
ReplyDeleteYou're speedy. I started out with KILZ on some of the walls and they're still not painted. At least this ugly paneling is somewhat covered!
ReplyDeleteYou are speedy! Sounds like a lot of progress in a short amount of time, your Duchess-ness.
ReplyDeleteGood thinking about staying away from any mafia types.
You have to admit, a crowd can be of help only if it wants to. I recall the old days of having as many people as possible around to help. Alas that never seemed to work...unless the beer was served after the heavy lifting! It seems that the actual move isn't as hard as the prepping for the move...
ReplyDeletein no way do I believe you know no one in the family...
ReplyDeletegood luck getting your new home ready for move in!
Nice Post
ReplyDeleteHappy moving, Linda & Amanda!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like fun and NOT fun too. But enjoy it....well, you know what I mean.
