Paint ... Pack ... Repeat ...

Sorry that seems to be the only refrain I have going on right now but things are getting down to the wire what with "the muscle" coming over tomorrow to move the bulk of stuff out of of the old house and into the new. I've got two walls to finish in the bedroom over at the new place today and then that room will be all set to have furniture moved in and curtains hung and all that good stuff.

Once I get home from that task, it's going to be pack, pack, pack as there's still so much stuff all over the place, it isn't funny. Where are worker elves when you need 'em?? In the meantime, I continue to be absent from the Blogosphere and for that I apologize but I promise to catch up once I'm caught up!

  1. Just move Linda. That's your priority right now. We'll all be here when you get settled. Just do what you have to do.

Have a great weekend. Big hug. :)

  9. At the beginning of our marriage we use to move every 2 years or so. We have been here 22+ years now and I can't imagine what it would be like to move.

  12. Bless your heart. I feel for you. I moved 3 years ago to Georgia and could not believe how much stuff I had in my little cottage! Plus I moved my parent's house into my house! OMG! That was brutal. I didn't get to paint before everything was moved in, but I've since done my bedroom, master bath, hallway, kitchen and laundry room. Halfway there! By the time I finish, I'll have to start all over again. Mostly, I'd like to paint the outside of the house. It's yellow. I'm not loving it. Big hug!

Best of luck with the painting.

  15. Good luck with packing, Linda - I love paiting, but I hate packing all that stuff. I always try to get rid of some things when moving, but usually they'll end up in the attick of the new home :-)

You summed it up beautifully here...I'll catch up once I'm caught up. I didn't think you would be posting this week, so I didn't stop by (I don't use Google Reader).
