For Lee's Sunday Scenery meme I chose this photo that I took a couple of Saturdays ago down by the Long Island Sound in New London. I was using a friend's borrowed telephoto lens to see how I liked it and even though I did, finances are such right now that buying one of my own is not really an option. I'm thinking that when I fly west next month, I may just rent a lens from one of the many places online that have them available. It's something I'm kicking around at any rate.
In the meantime, everyone have a great Sunday! It's going to be a chilly, drizzly, sorry-excuse-for-Spring day here in Connecticut but at least I'll be nice and dry watching chick flicks in between 911 calls and dreaming of warmer days to come. Soon, I hope!
Nice...after Tuesday I'm gonna be closer to the beach...expect lots of pics
ReplyDeleteLove that shot, it's got me hankering after the sea but it's too cold here to go to the seaside. It is, however, bright and sunny so that makes a change. :)

Enjoy your chick flicks! It's Bingo with the Biddies for me. :]
That is SO clear!
ReplyDelete800th post up now!
This shot reminds me of the beach I stopped at on the way to CT in 2007. My camera was acting up (argh) ...I think it was Pebble Beach(?) ....no,that doesn't sound right. Anyway, there was a 9/11 memorial there because you could see the place where the Twin Towers stood from that spot. It was cold and rocky and windy not like any beach I'd been to before. But still beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful shot, Linda.
Now I'm going to go nuts trying to remember the name of that beach.
I am sitting here with my dad in the hosapital what a beautiful picture to look at on my blackberry phone I want to be there now so does my dad. Thanks Linda!!!!!!
