That said, there are occasions when I just don't have the time and resort to picking up some type of fast food on the way home for the girls. They don't seem to mind (they're teenagers, of course they don't mind!) and it also saves on having to clean the kitchen and do the dishes and all the other fun stuff that goes along with cooking.
Norwich has all of the standard fast food joints - McDonald's, Wendy's Burger King, KFC/Taco Bell - as well as more pizza places than you can shake a large stick at not to mention quite a few Chinese take-out places. It's hard to pick a favorite but that's what I'm going to ask you today -
If you are going to get take-out for dinner, what's your favorite kind or favorite place to go?

i think i'd have to say thai food. love the stuff!

There are two that are my favorite. Chicken Bowl or Togo's for their Albacore Tuna sandwich and a cup of soup. Those are my two favorites. We don't go out very often though. We try to avoid all the poundage from takeout.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day and 4th of July weekend. It's off to the boat for us. :)
Panera Bread's tuna salad sandwich on 9-grain bread. Yum!
ReplyDeleteFrom the less healthy ones, I'd have to pick the big, bad Big Mac from McD's. that does not happen more than one day a month ;o)
That's easy - I don't even have to think about this. KFC. I get a 2pc breast meal, Original Recipe, with baked beans and mashed potatoes. I peel off the fried skin and eat the chicken, dipped in gravy from the taters. When I run out of gravy I dip it in the beans. Yum.
ReplyDeletewe don't get "take out" very often...
ReplyDeletewe used to go to Sonic regularly...but then we found out they give money to Planned Parenthood so we stopped going there.
There's a hole inthe wall pizza place around the corner... we order from there most often.
that or Jason's Deli...but it's about 15 miles away
ReplyDeleteI like the cuban sandwiches from Publix grocery store. That and a diet coke makes it a lunch of champions!
ReplyDeleteI like chinese, usually general tso's chicken, though the last time I had it it made my lips burn like crazy.
ReplyDeleteFor takeout I guess I'd go with Chinese.
ReplyDeleteSecond would be pizza.
I rarely do take out I usually eat there but I have gone next door to the diner a few times in the last year.
ReplyDeleteI got breakfast while we were waiting for the comcast guy. Meat loaf dinner once. When I had the flu, soup and chocolate cake.
Hooters?
ReplyDeleteI'll distinguish the term "take out" from the term "fast food" here. For fast food it's either KFC or TACO Bell.
ReplyDeleteOur favorite take out is Chinese. There's a great place up the road from us called Maple Garden that we absolutely love. My favorite entree is lemon chicken, while Pam enjoys beef and broccoli.
