Oh sure, it's pretty to look at but right about now I have more than had enough of this thing we like to call winter! You would think that as a New Englander I'd have a heartier disposition and ability to handle the cold better than I do but alas I think I spent too many years traveling around as an Air Force Brat and then on my own to have truly acclimated!
I don't know about the rest of you but I'm more than ready to go from that above (yesterday's weather) to this below - and soon! Please???
Count me in! I am not a winter person at all. No way. It was fun to ski on for a week (back before I screwed up my knee doing just that), but then I was ready to go back to FL and get out of that white stuff!
ReplyDeleteSending warm hugs and spring thoughts your way...
Now is the time of year I want to stop blogging and curl up on the couch and read 24/7. Run away to a fantasy world. Where kids don't have to be driven around, supper doesn't need to be cooked. I don't have to wake up and make a living... you know? right? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm off to work. Have a great day!
While the lack of sun gets to me, I see the need for winter... especially in the South. I want to make sure some of the bugs are dead. Really dead.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a winter person either and I'm waiting for spring. I'm tired of all these clothes too. I think I should be able to wear flip flops, shorts and polo shirts year round. That would be great.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day and stay warm. Big hug. :)
Oh yes roll on spring!
ReplyDeletethen i shouldn't tell you it is 81 here now, should i?

As pretty a scene as the snowy one makes, I'm with you on wanting to be in a locale with the second scene as my backdrop!
ReplyDeleteI moved away from NY happy that I'd get to avoid all the snow I dealt with last winter-just to walk into one of the most snowy winters in South Jersey.
ReplyDeleteI'm not happy.
I love that second photo! So peaceful and serene. . . I'm not with you on winter, though. We haven't had nearly enough snow in our neck of the woods. But that's okay because it will last another 3 months on the mountain so I'll have plenty of time to enjoy it. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI like the cold
ReplyDeleteit's the snow that I can do without
a dusting is pretty and then it needs to stop ;)
beautiful shots as always
I agree...sping please, and make it quick!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. Come the lottery it's that home in Australia and home in California so that I can spend the whole year in Fall and Spring.
ReplyDeleteEverywhere should be San Diego without the crowds: 70 degrees with a light ocean breeze. :-)
Oh, yes! PLEASE! I don't live in the south for nothing. It's been a much colder winter than any I can recall since I moved to Florida in 1975!
ReplyDeletePretty please with sugar on top??
ReplyDeleteI hear you. Although I prefer the cold air (but not the ice and snow) to the HUMIDITY that will be here before we know it. YUCK to that.
