As far as roads that I have traveled, as soon as I hit publish on today's post, I'll be packing up the car and heading north to Vermont for three days to travel a few - hopefully - scenic roads in search of covered bridges and other photographic delights. This is a me, myself, and I trip that I feel I need to recharge my batteries. More on that as we go - though I'm not sure I've got an internet connection at the inn I'm staying at; I guess we'll see!
And as TV theme songs ... you can't beat this one, right? Watching as a pre-teen back in the early 1970's, I always thought that Jack Lord was rather smoldering when he turns to face the camera. These days ... I still do!
And on that note, I'm outta here! Happy Monday to you all!
Jack is nice looking, yep. And James isn't bad either.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful me, myself and I adventure.
Safe travels Duchess Linda1

ReplyDeleteI loved that show. A. Lot. I love the into too. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day Linda. Big hug. :)
Your theme is "On the Road Again." I know you'll have fun and photos to prove it! Look forward to seeing them.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs...safe travels...
Safe trip, and no need to 110! Just come back safely, and w/LOTS of photos! VT is a very pretty state, so I'm sure you'll be quite successful w/your camera! :-)
ReplyDeleteI use to watch and WISH I lived there!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous trip. Vermont sounds fabulous, although chilly.
Big hugs xo
Book 'em Danno! The fact that James MacArthur was the adopted son of Helene Hayes was amusing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time recharging.
Did you say covered bridges??? I wish I was with you on your trip, covered bridges are something I absolutely love but are hard to find around here!! Have a great time and I look forward to seeing what pictures you bring home:-)
ReplyDeleteI use to watch Hawaii Five-O faithfully back in the day it was on!! I had a crush on Jack Lord as well!! hehe xoxo
I always like Golden Girls theme song ...or of course there's the Cheers theme.
ReplyDeleteIf that's not the best TV theme song, then it's in the top 5. And it's a great show too. I was a little too young for it in it's first seasons. Luckily it hung around for a long time and I did get to see the later seasons.
ReplyDeleteI've got the first three seasons now on DVD.
Looking forward to some great shots when you return from your trip!
I used to play that theme on the piano - when I still had a piano! I always wondered how long it took Jack to pull those three little pieces of hair down onto his forehead! My favorite character was the chubby detective.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite all-time music theme was from Miami Vice.
Bring us back some beauty! I can use it in spades...
~~~Blessings~~~
I need to get recharged too, that would be so awesome, especially just me. That would be so wonderful. Have fun and I cannot wait for the pictures.
