Happy May!

This was the temperature here in Norwich yesterday around 12:30 in the afternoon.  To me, that's just about THE perfect temperature which would be ideal year round with a nice light breeze blowing.  Jamie in Washington totally concurs with me but alas, neither of us live anywhere that provides that sort of year-round comfort.  Ah well, it's still nice to see and feel when it gets here!

Rumor has it that today is going to be in the low to mid-80's but the only thing I'll be able to do is look at it longingly from the window in dispatch as today will be shift numbers 7 and 8 in what has been a pretty long week.  That's okay, though, as I needed the extra money for the deposit for Montserrat for Amanda; I guess you could call it one of those "things we do for love".

Speaking of which, this Monday over at Take This Tune the musical prompt is the song The Things We Do For Love by 10cc - come on over and play with us if you've got some free blog space and are looking for inspiration for a post!

Oh, and I neglected to say "rabbits, rabbits, rabbits" again first thing this morning due to the fact that instead I said "Tesla, get out from under my feet!"  Hope that doesn't mean I'm going to have a messed up month ahead of me!

Here's hoping the day ahead for you is a grand one as we begin the fifth month of the year - just remember, there are only 245 more days until we start another year and I'd be willing to bet they go by fast!  Make the most of each one of them!

  6. I feel like being contrary...LOL!

I do like the temp at about 70, but that temp all year round would be boring. And the four season cycle wouldn't be nearly as interesting.

That's what I love about our weather here in Washington...just when I'm getting tired of one type, another one swoops in.
