Greetings from Baltimore!

Just a quick post via my iPhone to say hi from Charm City! The hotel doesn't have free Internet so I haven't been on-line to do a regular post as I refuse to pay $9.95 for 24 hours. Plus I've been way too busy taking pictures of probably every building in Baltimore!

We're heading home later today - around 2:00 - and I've got my fingers crossed for decent traveling conditions. Rumor has it rain is moving in later and travel on the East Coast always involves way too much traffic but hopefully it won't be too bad.

All in all, it's been a nice weekend and eventually I'll have lots of pictures and posts to share with you. There is history galore here and you know I'm loving it!

  2. That's really bad that they charge for internet use. It happens a lot here, but there are more internet places opening up that are free.

  7. I just had a pleasant flashback! Do you remember the TV show, "Hotel Baltimore?" Now I'm gonna have to look it up. I can't remember the cast or anything but vaguely remember it as a comedy.
Saw on FB that your trip home wasn't pleasant, dagnab it.
    Waiting for the goodies ...

  10. My first question when calling for a room reservation is about FREE wifi! That needs to be thrown in, not a separate charge.

    Looking forward to your photos.

    Big hugs, honey...
