  1. That is a simply gorgeous place to stay. Wow!

Never knew where the name Saltbox house came from..interesting.

    Love Blitzen way!

The interior reminds me somewhat of the Daniel Webster Inn in Sandwich, Mass. We stayed there on our first anniversary. Lovely place.

  8. looks like a great place...cause you wrote a great review!

  9. Oh what a charming place! Your photographs show it off perfectly Linda. It all looks more like someone's house than a hotel. :)

  10. Caught up on your adventures so far... I shuddered at the part about falling. I would have tried to protect the camera, too! In fact, I am sure I've done the same somewhere along the way.

Loving all the pics, especially love the green/blue quilted bedding in the Christmas Inn. So pretty! Your posts make me want to vacation in NE again. Maybe next year!!!

  11. I recognized those flowers as being the ones on your blog! Beautiful place. I would sooo love staying there. Good job on the review, as usual, and the photos, of course!

  13. Be still my heart....what an absolutely delightful place to stay at!! Just having the word "Christmas" in the name would have sold me! lol I noticed that their living room wall colour is practically the same as what I just painted my living room walls with:-) Everything just looks so beautiful and I loved reading how each building was added and the history behind them. Awesome!! xoxo
