Venturing Out on Vacation, Part Eight: Moseying Over to Maine

This post can now be found in its entirety at Moseying Over to Maine on my travel blog, The Distracted Wanderer. Please click over there to read about the beauty of Bethel, Maine!

  1. Very quaint, indeed! With that teaser ending I had to scoot on over to their web site and read the story of the hauntings.

And very reasonable rates, I might add!

I love big gazebos! We had one up on the lake in New Hampshire. Mr Ex's mother's family all owned a bunch of property. The Gazebo was used quite extensively for big family BBQs, picnics and covered dish gatherings, etc.

    Big hugs :]

  2. OH! And the dorm room thing is fabulous!!

  3. you have all the material for a travel magazine. you could do an e-zine and charge a fee for access. you could write a book about travel in the east and publish it.

    write, write, write.

  4. Anonymous3:40 PM EDT

what a beautiful place and I love the night photography you shot. Just wonderful.

  5. No you didn't mention it was haunted until the very end of this post, but I'm not surprised. You wouldn't stay any place that wasn't haunted. Just saying.

Thanks for another fine history lesson. I've learned so very much on your trips.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)
