Hi from St. Thomas!

Just a quick update before our ship pulls out of port and I am once again cut off from anyone who isn't on-board.
Thus far it has been an interesting cruise where I have spent half of my time quite enjoying myself and the other half feeling homesick of all things!  For those of you who just gasped aloud and asked yourselves "what the hell is wrong with her?" the answer is simply, "I don't know".   However, homesickness aside, I have totally loved seeing the beautiful blues & greens of the ocean and I've managed to get up early enough to catch a sunrise as well as get the timing right for photographing a sunset, too.

Seeing everyone has been very nice but I think they're also asking what the hell is wrong with me!  Barb and I have gotten off of the boat in both the Bahamas and St. Thomas but I won't go into the details here as this is just a short post sent via text message before we push off for Puerto Rico here shortly. That said ... I'll be in touch later!

  1. I hope the rest of the cruise gets better for you, Duchess Linda. You're just not used to so much frivolity and free time!

    I'd be the same way.

  2. Try to enjoy the rest of the trip.

  3. ITS GOOD to get away but the vastness of it all can make you homesick.

  4. I just blinked real hard and made that little cloud hanging over your head just disappear. If you need a hug right now, considered yourself hugged!!!

  5. Anonymous9:46 AM EST

What Gracie said.... Take in the warmth and the colors...

  6. Oh what a shame you're feeling homesick. I hope it doesn't mar your enjoyement of the cruise Linda. I can't wait to see all the photographs you've taken when you get home.

When we did the cruise last year I was up every morning on my balcony watching the sunrise whilst sipping a lovely cup of green tea. BLISS!

  7. Awwww, I can understand the homesickness, it's the same for me whenever I go away...don't know why, though! lol Once you've settled into the cruise, I have no doubt you will enjoy it to the fullest. xoxo

Thanks for visiting!
