Greetings from Monday Morning!

Part of the miniature golf course on Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls, Ontario. Not having had any coffee yet today, I think this fella is a pretty good representation of how I'm feeling this morning!

Yeppers, it's time for the "after road trip" slump portion of my week wherein I lack any sort of energy, enthusiasm, or ambition. There's laundry to be done, pictures to be edited, posts to be written, etc., etc. and yet all I can seem to do is play silly Facebook games whilst telling myself I need to get started on something - anything!  And playing another round of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" doesn't count!

Ah well, I'm going to shuffle off to the kitchen and brew up some java while throwing in a load of laundry and at least pretending I'll get something accomplished before going into work this afternoon.  It's a start, right??

Oh, and just FYI, this picture is from Dinosaur Adventure Golf at the Clifton Hill section of Niagara Falls and not a self-portrait in spite of the resemblance!

  2. The vacation letdown. I always hated having a great vacation and then it was back to work. I don't feel that way anymore since we retired. I'm happy about that.

Have a terrific day. Hugs. :)

  3. My personal opinion is...stuff will get done when it gets done. Enjoy the laziness for awhile!

  4. I absolutely LOVE the dinosaur photo. Are you sure he's not real?

Stuff gets done when it's gets done and not a single moment sooner.

  8. I know exactly how you're feeling, I've been like a wet noodle just laying there with no energy! lol It always takes me a few days to recover from one of our trips. We had so much fun, though, it makes it all worth it:-) I'm going on a 5 day trip with my friend June (the Elvis Festival in Collingwood) in a couple of weeks so need to rest up for that!! xoxo

  10. You have taken gallivanting to a high art. Now you just need to arrange to do it full time.

  11. How are you making out with all that productivity before work jazz? I have the same problem most nights when I get HOME from work. I can't find the motivation to do anything productive around the house. I save it all for the weekend.
