I know, I know ... I have so much to write about in regards to my trip to Niagara Falls but when the opportunity presented itself to go back up to Vermont for a couple of days, I just couldn't say 'no'! This is the Green River Bridge in Guilford - one of a couple covered bridges I managed to find on my way up to the charming town of Chester where I had been invited to stay at the beautiful Inn Victoria for a few days. It was an opportunity I just couldn't pass up - I bet you wouldn't have been able to either!
I'd go too!
ReplyDeletewhen I was a kid these bridges were everywhere, in the south, now they have been removed because they were unsafe, such a shame. Did you ever cross a river on a rope driven ferry, I have....
ReplyDeleteOh I love the bridge!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bridge. I love it's contrasting red interior
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful bridge Linda, thanks for taking the picture and sharing it with me. x
ReplyDeleteNice processing! You can bet your bottom dollar I'd have gone, too! Yes, ma'am!

What a fantastic opportunity!! Have fun-can't wait to read (and see) all about your trip.
ReplyDeleteThat is a perfect picture!
ReplyDeleteI would have been out the door in a heart beat!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
Ok, you're forgiven for taking off again, I guess I wouldn't have passed up the opportunity either! lol I hope you have a great time and will look forward to hearing what you did and saw over there. By the way, I have a weakness for covered bridges, just love them!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'd say going to see more neat stuff trumps merely writing about the neat stuff you've already seen!
