Greetings from Boston!

Jamie and the Ducklings

Jamie and I are having a fine time visiting Beantown even though it's a little on the cold side (or as Jamie says, "it's freezing!") but there's no snow and the sun is shining so I'm not complaining in the least.  I took this picture of the very popular "Make Way for Ducklings" sculpture in Boston Public Gardens yesterday evening - Jamie thought she'd get behind the last duckling and follow along.  Today we're off for a tour of the Massachusetts State House, Boston Public Library, and maybe a few other places in between before we head back to Connecticut and "real life".

  1. Love the duck sculpture! And Jaime's hat! And Boston! I haven't been to the Commons in forever!

Delay "real life" as long as possible!

  2. Say HI to Beantown for me! Haven't been there in too long. But I would rather go when it is WARM. Srsly.

    Big hugs, honey...

  3. Oh that is so darn cute! What a clever bit of sculpture! Perfect for a photo op! Sounds like you're having a great time getting out there and seeing it all. Enjoy!

  4. How fun! Went to Boston once over New Years and watched fireworks in the harbor. Amazing!
    Enjoy, girls! :)

  5. Oh how cute are they? :)

Now I'm disappointed that I didn't get to see the ducklings when I was in Boston, they are cute!

  7. Fabulous picture! Hope you all got to enjoy some chowdah in the Kennedy homeland and maybe found a nice Italian bakery or two.

  8. Must be off my 'A' game this morning because my comment about chowder and Kennedys seems to have disappeared. Anyway, fantastic picture and glad you had a good time!

    1. Nah, you're still on your 'A' game - I just have comment moderation in affect after the first 24 hours of a post as that's when spammers are most likely to attack!

That said, nope - no chowdah or Italian bakeries this trip but I had a good time regardless!

  9. Very cool! I bet the ducks are jealous and want a hat like Jamie's!

Thanks for visiting!
