If Trees Could Talk, I Can Only Imagine What This One Might Have to Say

While in southern Connecticut last week with Patti, we took a short drive down to Westport and stopped in at the Connecticut 9-11 Living Memorial at Sherwood Island State Park. I hope you'll be able to stop in over at my post on The Distracted Wanderer to read about it.

That was my first thought! Big hugs, honey...

  2. I'm thinking it's saying it's waiting for spring to arrive and it can come alive again.

Have a terrific day Linda. :)

  3. Well, see here one day about 30 years ago a small dog wandered by and just as I was opening myself up to the warmth of the sun, that dog pissed right on me... Have not been able to spring a leaf since then!!!

  4. Ya know, that's what I say whenever I pass by a lone tree in a field. I've always thought about writing a book from a tree's point of view.

    LOL @ Callie.

  5. That tree just looks plain exasperated. Throwing its limbs in the air in frustration. :-)
