Winging It On Thursday

"I pick the prettiest part of the sky and I melt into the wing and then into the air, till I'm just soul on a sunbeam." ~ Richard Bach, Jonathan Livingstone Seagull

"I think it is a pity to lose the romantic side of flying and simply to accept it as a common means of transport...."  ~ Amy Johnson

  1. This is more than winging it, Duchess. Theses are wonderful photos of the gulls. And the upper left one with the clouds looks heavenly.

You saw my attempt at capturing a gull in flight. I'll not give up though.

Ralph will like the plane photo! I'll show him.

  2. Awesome! I'm right partial to critters with wings and, being a pilot, I do love airplanes of all shapes and sizes. Great post with the quotes.

    Big hugs, honey...

  9. Now my stepdad would appreciate the words about flight. I'm not so keen on it, but I do like the passion in the two quotes you chose.
