WooHoo! I did it! I completed my very first
NannyNannyBooBoo NaBloPoMo and now I get to add this spiffy little Poppin' Fresh badge to my sidebar. Now, I'm not sure whether the significance of it is that I was on a roll or that my muscles have all turned to dough because I haven't done anything except blog for the past month but he sure is cute, isn't he??
Congratulations to everyone else who completed this challenge - amongst them my friends
Misty Dawn,
Joan,
Morgen,
Patois,
Claire, and I'm sure a bunch of others that I'm forgetting (for which I'm sorry!).
If you made an attempt at the challenge but didn't quite make it for one reason or another, you can still get this really cute badge from Sara at
Moving Right Along and isn't it just the cutest little ole' thing?? Almost makes me wish I'd missed a day or two!

Let's not forget the people who took on the
really big challenge of
NaNoWriMo wherein they undertake writing a 50,000 word novel in just 30 days! Not on your life would I undertake that particular challenge but Simon of
The Freelance Cynic did and completed it! Now I owe him a review wherein I praise him unabashedly and gloriously as that was the forfeit that I put up when he first took on this project and was looking for some incentives. Had he not completed his 50,000 words he'd be doing the same for me! I'll be writing that post soon - I promise!
At least with the challenge over and met, I can now miss a day of posting without feeling a bit guilty about it but I figure I'm on a roll so why stop now? Right??
I finally found facebook scrabulous. I sent you a friend request. Currently have a game going with Mo, but I'm ambidextrous. Next time you are on, start a game.
ReplyDeleteThat's me giving you a big pat on the back for a job well done!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteNanny nanny boo boo was hysterical.Congratulations! You should get two awards because you posted more than once a day.
ReplyDeleteYou rock, my friend. And I do think you have a novel in you. Start writing.I'll give you exactly thirty days.
Complete sentences with correct grammar and punctuation, double-spaced with footnotes. That should do it. I'm waiting...
Congrats my friend!
ReplyDeleteWell done Linda, congratulations. :)
ReplyDeleteI did it too. I need to post a badge. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, oddly enough, I haven't managed to write since :)
