Happy Mother's Day 2008!

Mother's Day flowersThe bucket of flowers above is the Mother's Day gift I put together for my own Mom but I thought it was so pretty that I wanted to share it with the rest of the moms (and not-moms!) out there! Not to pat myself on the back too much and sprain my hand but I think I did a pretty good job with it!

I hope that all the mothers of the world have a glorious day today with lots of special times to create special memories! Now I'm outta here to go to a cook-out with Jason and Amy and Cate and Amanda and whoever else shows up! Behave yourselves while I'm gone!

  9. I know, I'm running way late - as usual more often than not lately -but hope you had a great Mother's Day. Hope it was every bit as nice as mine was this year. I've actually been celebrating since Friday with all the goings on of that day, the trip, doctor visit, shopping and even the getting lost part! Hope this frame of mind the past three days lasts forever, if that were possible!
    Peace, my friend.

  10. Way-belated wishes that you had a wonderful Mother's Day and rested up from creating this amazing floral arrangement for your Mom (I'm lovin' that sexy coleus on the sides, and the blue bucket really pops--nice touches!) & recovered from making all that potato salad!
I neither behaved nor cooked out, but I DID have lovely chats with all my far-flung kids & grandkids yesterday.
Kathy Griffin rocked Reno on Saturday night. Better still was the drive home with Mr. Right Sunday. We skipped I-80 & returned via North Shore Tahoe/Carson Pass (Hwys 89 & 88). No fire damage at all along N. Shore; Jeff didn't want to see S. Shore this soon after the fires. Photos exist, but when Jeff points the car home he barely makes pit stops, much less photo-op stops, nor does he like the breeze of rolled down windows; I'll need to do cleanup to remove window glare. If they are salvageable I'll send you a couple soon.
