I don't know exactly how creative my photography is but I've really been enjoying trying to take better pictures and sharing them with you folks in the Blogosphere so this seems like a good way to expand my horizons a little bit.
Speaking of horizons, for my first entry I thought I would use this picture that I took at Eastern Point Beach the other night when we were there for the fireworks. I think this was probably my favorite one out of the batch that I took. It shows the moon reflecting over the water of the Long Island Sound with the Ledge Lighthouse in the distance that you can see much better if you enlarge the picture.
I'm not planning on winning the contest (at least not yet!) but this definitely gives me the incentive to keep up with my photography! Thanks, Roger, for this contest!

Maybe the earth revolves around the moon. That lighthouse is the neatest I've seen, looking like a sea captain's house.
