Last week I entered Roger's Creative Photography Contest for the first time and had the chance to see some excellent entries posted by others in the contest. Last week's winner, Star 8278 from the blog "Life's a Dance You Learn as You Go" had a beautiful submission that definitely earned the award and left me longing for a few more creative talents - as well as a better camera!
Alas, I can't afford the type of camera I would really like to have so will continue to plug away with my little ole' Kodak EasyShare Z712 that takes passable pictures such as the moon shot that I took last week and have chosen for this week's entry -
What a pleasant surprise to see that my paramedic friend Dennis has entered the contest this week, too, with a picture that might be familiar to a few of you! If you'd like to check out more of the contest entries for this week then be sure to visit Roger's Creative Photography Contest blog.
Thanks again, Roger, for this fun contest!

ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful, just like YOU!
ReplyDeleteI love it... and I can't wait to cast my vote at the end of the contest. It's going to be fun and difficult each week to pick just ONE winner.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out!
This shot makes Norwich the center of the universe. Isn't it?
ReplyDeleteYou make the moon so alive with this and last week's submission.
Don't downplay your talent and eye for the magnificent...
Oh wow! The camera doesn't make someone a good photographer.. it's about how you see the shot and making the most of it. You've done wonders with this one!
ReplyDeleteOh! That's stunning!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderfully shot photo, Linda. Best of luck to you! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome Moon, thank you for your Creative Photography submission.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot of the moon rising, Duchess Linda ;-D
ReplyDeleteI agree that it's the creative eye of the photographer and the capture that make the photo, don't worry about what kind of camera you have. Mine is just a little digital Canon.
When we are rich we can get fancy Nikon stuff, right?
