It's All About Me ...

This little meme has been making the rounds and considering I can't think of anything brilliant to write about today, I thought "why not?" and decided to do it. I wasn't tagged by anyone and won't be tagging anyone else so not to worry if you're afraid I'm going to smack you with another meme because it ain't gonna happen!
  1. Five names you go by: Linda, Linnie, Linda Loo, Mom, Dispatcher Orlomoski
  2. Three things you are wearing right now: slippers, bathrobe, 9/11 remembrance t-shirt
  3. Two things you want very badly at the moment: a fireplace with a crackling fire, someone to share said crackling fire with
  4. Three people who will probably fill this out or maybe will or maybe won’t: Sandee, Ivana, and Lois - because they've all already done it!
  5. Two things you did last night: worked, watched Ghost Adventurers on the Travel Channel with my co-workers
  6. Two things you ate today: frozen blueberry waffles, an orange
  7. Two people you last talked to on the phone: one of my work supervisors, Amanda
  8. Two things you are going to do tomorrow: work for 16 hours, watch movies at work
  9. Two longest car rides: New Jersey to Oklahoma City (I shared driving duties with my friend Carol); the Wisconsin Dells to New Jersey (for that one I was hyped up on NoDoz and drove straight through!)
  10. Two of your favorite beverages: hot tea and hot coffee
If you want to grab this one and do a quick and easy meme, feel free and then let me know so I can come over to check it out but as I said, I won't tag anyone. No doubt my friend Erik will be glad to know that I didn't tag him again as I seem to have been picking on the poor guy unmercifully lately!

Have a splendid Saturday! I'm going to spend some of mine doing more than just thinking about getting my small Christmas tree out of the box and actually doing it! At least that's the plan ... ! Which is always subject to change ... !

  1. Ugh, that's a long shift, 16 hours...at least you can watch movies there! hehe I have a few Christmas movies I just bought and need to watch them. My longest car ride was also to New Jersey...my friend Carol and I drove from here in Northern Ontario to Atlantic City, NJ and it took us over 15 hours. We took turns driving...don't know if I could do that again! lol xoxo

  2. Hi Duchess,
This looks like fun, but I'm two memes behind at the moment.

I'll add it to the list, Linnie!

That 16-hour shift sounds horrible. Hope the movies help the time go by.

  3. Take a pic of the tree...

I've only had two large mugs of tea...and I've been up since 3:30... You're ahead of me in the eating department. And I'm HUNGRY! If I don't eat soon I'll get the cobbywobbles.

  4. Dispatcher Ormoloski sounds so straitlaced!

  5. You poor, overworked soul! The good news - if you can call it that - would be that @ some point during your 16hrs tomorrow, you'll see your favorite "Bulldog" bringing you one of your favorite beverages (hot tea or hot coffee), calling you "Linda", and regaling you with a tail (tale) of his longest drive. Hang in there my friend, and good luck w/that Christmas tree! ;-)

  6. Lois, what are the cobbywobbles?

I love this meme. It's fun and easy. You sure work a lot of 16 hours shifts. I hated 16 hour shifts.

We'll await the Christmas tree...or not. Have a great day and weekend Linda. Big hug. :)

  7. Well Linda, this Meme actually has me wanting to fill it out. Good questions. And I've also started enjoying Ghost Hunters on the Travel Channel, along with my T.A.P.S., and Ghost Hunters international on Sci-fi. However I can't seem to get into the British version "Most Haunted" on Travel. It seems way too fake, compared to the others...

How bout that apparition they saw at the Washoe Club??!! Funny, a few weeks ago T.A.P.S. went to the same place and didn't get much other than some E.V.P.'s...

  8. Meme's are great when you can't think of anything to blog about!

We're putting our tree and decs up tomorrow.

  9. 16 hour shifts must bite. I used to have a job where I worked 12 hours on one day each week, and I hated that! Of course that is why I'm not there anymore. That and they went out of business...

  10. I put it in my "things to write about when you can't think of anything" pile...

Have fun with your tree (and I really mean that). My tree is one of the inanimate objects that I talk to once in a while. His name is Claude and he's getting a little fed up with my style of decorating. I am thinking about giving him to my step-daughter and down-sizing a bit next year.

  11. OH Honey, are you blocking California out of your mind. To me your longest car ride was a Uhaul with a son and all your stuff going from one coast to another. To me that is your longest car ride and rumor says you did it a couple of times. have a great day sweetie

  12. Definitely filing this one in the "help, my brain is empty" pile. I did finish the scribbler tag.

Have fun decorating your tree. Has Amanda made ornaments?

  13. A 16 hour shift sounds like pure torture. Do you have any No Doz left from that Wisconsin to New Jersey drive? Have a great weekend despite the long hours.

  14. I'm gonna do this, the one you tagged me with and several others all in one "more than you ever wanted to know about Mightymom" post so watch/wait for it!
